I was planning to continue telling you about my journey into animal communication, however in this moment I feel compelled to share a very special story with you all.
Shortly after my beloved ‘soul dog’ Bronnie passed away, back into spirit, I met an amazing lady, called Lynne and her gorgeous ‘soul dog’ called Abby. Sometimes, someone comes into your life whom you really click with, for me this was Lynne & Abby or correctly put ‘Abby & Lynne’, for whomever spoke their names, Abby was always first, ( of course 😉 ).
I have to tell you Abby was simply amazing, she was Lynne’s emotional support dog, she had an awesome collection of rosettes and medals, she swam, dock dived, did agility and flyball, was a registered therapy dog, a dog scout who earned 40 merit badges, a hospice therapy dog, camped, flew on airplanes and, people were completely drawn to her and almost always had to have their photos taken with her. Most of all, beyond all that, she spread love, and in this case love across the pond, from USA to UK. Oh, I nearly forgot, also an honorary mascot for the ‘moondogs’
We met before I started my animal communication journey. The warmth and compassion, and then the devastation when Abby passed on, made me realise when the time came, that an important part of animal communication for me would be to bring comfort to owners, and the realisation that our pets do live on, we just cannot see them. They do however remain a very important part of our lives. I have to say, though, that doesn’t stop us missing our beloved pets on earth, the need to put our arms around them and give them a cuddle, or simply to bury our heads into their soft fur, or stroke a reptile and give love, whatever shape or form an animal to me is love! But they remain a part of us, always.
I firmly believe Bronnie & Abby brought Lynne and I together. How? I cannot tell you, except that when Lynne lost Abby I felt like I was losing Bronnie all over again. That was something that I had never experienced before with anyone else.
Lynne and I couldn’t have more different backgrounds. For one, I am here in South Wales, Uk, Lynne lives in Minnesota, USA. I trained as a professional dancer and Lynne was in the marine corps. I mean as different as can be!!!! But, we each had a rescue black and white Labrador X who brought us together and we each had a deep connection with our dogs and with each other’s dogs. For me it felt they were pulling us together to share our love of all things canine. Do I believe that Lynne and Abby are part of my soul family, absolutely 100%.
What was even more astounding given our diverse backgrounds were the simple every day things we have in common, our dress sense, the things we enjoy, ptsd, and even the silly things like both being messy eaters at times ( sorry Lynne, that had to go in!) and more! I also believe that Bronnie & Abby knew we would be able to comfort each other in our grief….
So what I’m saying in a nut shell is that our animals whether on earth or in spirit are always working away, they know what our hearts & souls need, they are working away on life lessons with us, helping our souls to grow. The connection we have with them never leaves, it is unconditional love, they are in tune with us & our feelings, even those feelings we hide from each other or even from ourselves, and they know exactly what we need at any given time of our lives. In the busyness of life, I would say, just take a moment to be in the stillness of your soul & quieten your mind because your pet in spirit or on earth is just waiting to connect with you heart to heart, soul to soul.
